Williamstown, Mass. — The Clark Art Institute hosts two artmaking webinars on Zoom in preparation for the upcoming Valentine’s Day celebration. The free webinars are scheduled for noon on Thursday, February 4, and Thursday, February 11 and are open to people of all ages and all skill levels.
These “craft-along” programs include tips for making and mailing artful valentines to send love and good cheer to friends, family, a special someone, or yourself. Participants can enjoy a wealth of design inspiration from the Clark’s collection and discover new ways to express themselves through handmade envelope art.
In addition, the Clark website offers free downloadable valentine envelopes and stationery inspired by the Clark’s collections through February 14. Visit clarkart.edu to print, cut, fold, decorate, and send Valentine’s greetings featuring favorite images from the Clark’s permanent collection.
The valentine programs will be broadcast live and will last about thirty minutes. Online registration is required by noon the day before the event. Registrants will receive an email with a private link to the virtual program prior to the event.
