Great Barrington, Mass. – Feb. 21, 2019 – Fairview Commons Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Great Barrington invites the public to an open house to learn about Fairview’s Adult Day Health program. The open house is Thursday, March 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
Adult Day Health can be a practical alternative to home care or a move to a long-term care facility. Services include supervised nursing care from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays; stimulating activities including exercise classes; nutritious meals; medication administration; monitoring of vital signs; and socialization with a close-knit community of friends.
“At Fairview Commons Adult Day Health, we make weekdays easier for adults who require care and their caregivers, providing just the right level of assistance, attention, and engaging activities to make days healthier and more fulfilling,” said program director Marilyn Heath. “It can be the ideal choice when caregivers are at work or need a day for themselves.”
