Membership in the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce includes these benefits at no additional cost to members:
- Monthly networking events: Members are welcome to attend our monthly Business After Hours events, usually on the second Thursday of each month. This is a great opportunity to network with fellow Chamber members, find out what’s going on in the community, and talk about what your business is doing.
- Seminars: The Chamber offers free in-person and virtual seminars throughout the year on topics that can help your business. Past topics have included: HR During COVID, SEO for Google, and Intro to E-Commerce.
- Page on www.southernberkshirechamber.com: Your membership includes a free online listing in our online directory that you can edit at any time. This listing gives you space for a description, image gallery, video, website link and more.
- Listing in the print directory: The Southern Berkshire Chamber publishes an annual magazine-sized directory listing each of our members. Your free listing includes your business name, location, phone number, website and brief description. (Members have the option of upgrading with a display ad for an additional cost.) The Chamber distributes around 10,000 copies of the brochure throughout the Berkshires and beyond each year.
- Ads in weekly e-news: Members can submit display ads, event listings, press releases and job listings for our weekly e-newsletter, which is sent out every Thursday morning.
- Direct referrals: Residents and visitors frequently contact the Chamber office with questions about where to find the products and services and resources they need. Your membership helps us put potential customers in contact with you quickly and easily.
- Facebook & Instagram posts: The Chamber promotes member businesses and the region on social media.
- Business Spotlight: Each month, four members are chosen at random to receive mini-ads on WSBS throughout the month, as well as special promotion in the e-newsletter.
- Business consultants: When you need help with your business, the Chamber can assist your in finding the resources you need.
- A State & local voice: The Chamber advocates for the interests of the businesses and organizations in our region.
