Nonprofit Center Offers a Trio of Educational Opportunities in July

Great Barrington – The Nonprofit Center of the Berkshires presents three workshops for nonprofits during the month of July.

“How to Create a Memorable Voice in Your Marketing” led by Robin Catalano takes place Wednesday, July 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn on 1032 South Street in Pittsfield. Explore the difference between style and voice, practice exercises to help develop a powerful and recognizable voice, and learn best and worst times to self-edit, as well as insider tricks editors use to take a written work from good to great.

On July 16 & 17 at the Red Lion Inn, NPC will again offer its “Nonprofit Boot Camp” for new and young nonprofits. This one-and-a-half-day training features sessions on governance, fundraising, outreach, finance, legal and insurance with plenty of time for networking. Presenters include Susan Nicholl, Jenni Haley, and Kim Baker of Toole Insurance. Lunch, snacks and coffee are included in the fee.

Gwendolyn VanSant of Multicultural BRIDGE will lead a two-session training, “Yes,  We all have Bias!” Thursdays July 25th and August 1st  from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hilton Garden Inn in Pittsfield. Participants will learn essential inclusive leadership skills for navigating bias in the workplace.
